With a large number of versatile spaces, from grand classical rooms with high ceilings and tall windows suiting all manner of events to atmospheric hidden spaces underground, Somerset House sits with an enviable position on the Thames and can accommodate intimate dinners for 30 and up to 300 guests for a standing reception.
Royal Museums Greenwich
Comprising of 5 different venues, each with their own exceptional history, an array of important exhibits and fine art, the spaces within the Royal Museums Greenwich can offer a backdrop for events ranging from gala dinners and award ceremonies to daytime conferences and weddings, from 5 to 1500 guests.
Royal horticultural Halls
The Royal Horticultural Halls – Lindley Hall is a large Grade 2 listed venue with a stunning glass vaulted ceiling, incorporating a useful blackout facility. It provides the perfect blank canvas for hosting all manner of events and also provides a stunning backdrop for music videos, car launches, adverts and films. For dinners and conferences up to 480 and receptions of 650.
With seven flexible spaces from the grandeur of the Great Hall to the atmospheric medieval crypts, Guildhall offers a traditional setting with a history spanning over 800 years for all types of events from an intimate or grand gala dinner to a conference for 760 or even a musical performance, situated right in the heart of the City of London.
London Transport Museum
The London Transport Museum galleries provide a spectacular backdrop for evening receptions and dinner parties for up to 500 guests, mixing old and new with stunning displays of iconic transport posters and original artworks, vintage public transport vehicles and exhibitions that look at London’s future transport system.
The BFI IMAX auditorium seats 450 and boasts the biggest screen Britain has ever seen. With 40’ wide projection the norm, an 11kw sound system, moving lights and the option of a stage, the IMAX lends itself to all manner of exciting live events.
The Royal Opera House
