Event tsl once again supported the Royal Horticultural Society on their ‘Outstanding contribution to Horticulture’ awards. The lunch time event, held in the stunning Lindley hall brought together those who have made huge contributions in the area of Horticulture and also presented degrees to this years ‘Masters of Horticulture’ graduates.
Always keen to make the event feel different to the previous years while keeping an eye on budget, event tsl were asked to project the image of a stately home across the width of the set (40’), to be projected during walk in and during lunch. At the start of the awards the house would disappear, up lighters would then light the set and the screen would show the Powerpoint slides.
With a projection distance of over 100ft and in a light filled room, we decided on an image blend of two 15000 lumen projectors to cover the set and a 3rd projector to look after the powerpoint projection. The whole event was rigged in 4 hours the day before, allowing the projection to be focused and set before we put the lighting in on the morning of the event.
